Out with the Old, In with the Bold: Cheers to 2025
As we prepare to say goodbye to 2024, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions. The end of the year always invites reflection—a chance to look back at the lessons we’ve learned, the growth we’ve experienced, and the moments that shaped us. But it’s also a time for renewal—a time to leave behind what no longer serves us and step boldly into the future with intention and purpose.
This past year was nothing short of transformative for me. I left behind a job and a city that didn’t align with my vision for the life I wanted to build. I launched Pussy Tangent, a project that’s not only close to my heart but also rooted in my passion for empowering women. I spent quality time with my family in New York, reconnecting in ways that filled my spirit. And I dedicated time to my peace of mind in one of the most beautiful parts of the country—a reminder of the importance of stepping away to truly hear yourself.
Perhaps the most exciting decision I made was to invest in my future by focusing on cultivating my creativity and expanding my entrepreneurial endeavors. I took a deep dive into visualizing how I want to spend my future and created a personalized project management tool to help me stay organized and motivated. I’m a handwritten notes kind of person—there’s something deeply satisfying about crossing items off a list. But when it comes to something as comprehensive as planning your dreams, having a tool you can reference anytime, anywhere, is a game-changer.
Looking back, my word for 2024 is transformative. This year wasn’t about minor changes or surface-level growth. It was about deep, meaningful shifts that allowed me to align my actions with my purpose.
Now, as I look ahead to 2025, I want to bring that same energy into the new year. Renewal isn’t about reinventing yourself; it’s about aligning with your values and letting go of what weighs you down. It’s about making space for the things that truly matter.
So, I’ll ask you this:
• What’s one thing you’re leaving behind in 2024? Is it a limiting mindset, a draining relationship, or a habit that no longer serves you?
• And what’s one thing you’re stepping into for 2025? Is it a new mindset, a personal commitment, or a relationship that supports your growth?
For me, I’m leaving behind doubt—the kind that makes me question my worth and my ability to achieve my dreams. And I’m stepping into trust. Trusting myself, my journey, and the vision I’m working toward.
As we close out this year and welcome the next, I want to encourage you to take a moment for yourself. Reflect on where you’ve been, honor your growth, and set your intentions for where you’re going. The year ahead is yours to create, and I truly believe it’s going to be amazing.
Here’s to stepping boldly into 2025, to celebrating our resilience, and to daring to dream bigger than ever before.
Cheers to you and the incredible year ahead!
